R-404A refrigerant, also known as R404A, has the trade names SUVA HP62, SUV 404A, Genetron 404A, etc.
Description:
As R-404A belongs to HFC type non azeotropic environmental refrigerant (completely free of ozone depleting CFC and HCFC), it is a mainstream low-temperature environmental refrigerant recognized and recommended by most countries in the world, and is widely used for initial installation and re addition during maintenance of new refrigeration equipment. It conforms to the standards of EPA, SNAP and UL of the American environmental protection organizations, and conforms to the A1 safety level category of ASHRAE (the highest level, harmless to human body)
Key Features
As a widely used medium and low temperature refrigerant, R-404A is often used in refrigeration equipment such as cold storage, food refrigeration equipment, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial low-temperature refrigeration, commercial low-temperature refrigeration, transportation refrigeration equipment (refrigerated vehicles, etc.), refrigeration condensing units, supermarket display cabinets, etc.
Application:
R404A refrigerant is the most common industrial standard refrigerant (usually a cryogenic refrigeration system) to replace R-22 and R502 on newly installed refrigeration equipment. R404A is the closest to the operation of R-502, and it is applicable to all environments where R-502 can operate normally. R404A is recognized and used by most refrigeration equipment manufacturers around the world. However, because the physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance and compressor oil of R404A are different from R502 and R-22, for after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment initially installed with R502 and R-22 refrigerants, if it is necessary to add or replace refrigerants, only R502 and R-22 can be added. Generally, R404A cannot be directly used to replace R502 and R-22 (that is, blood exchange replacement is generally not allowed).
